Dear Cloudlets User,
CloudJLets provided MongoDB as a certified software stack without additional charges. However, following the license changes introduced by MongoDB Inc. (since version 4.0.4), the stack moved under a paid license. While CloudLets was able to temporarily offer MongoDB 6 and 7 with an additional fee, vendor limitations now prevent us from continuing this option.
📌 What’s Changing:
- MongoDB has been removed from the list of supported stacks on CloudLets
- Users will no longer be able to create new MongoDB containers.
- DBaaS automation for existing MongoDB containers (such as horizontal scaling and auto-clustering) will no longer be supported.
- CloudLets will not provide support or SLA for MongoDB containers going forward.
📌 What You Can Do:
- Continue using your existing MongoDB containers at your own risk.
- Migrate to your own MongoDB instance (e.g., via a custom Docker image).
- Explore alternative database solutions such as Percona or PostgreSQL, both of which are supported on CloudLets
We encourage you to plan your migration at the earliest to avoid disruptions. Our support team is available to guide you in exploring alternative solutions.
Thank you for your understanding.
